"Plenty of people ride horses and do dressage," he said.
"But that's boring. Not many people do jousting. It is very original.
"The Household of the Green Knight is a lot of hard work, but it's also plenty of fun," he said.
"I've been swinging swords since I was 16 and just love it. But it definitely takes a certain type of person to do this."
