FORMER Jets fan favourite Tarek Elrich has been confirmed as one of the first players signed by new A-League club West Sydney Wanderers.

The franchise unveiled its name, colours and first round of player signings today in Sydney.
Elrich, who was unwanted by the Jets, Scottish based midfielder Aaron Mooy and state league player Kwabena Appiah-Kubi are the first of a host of player announcement to be made this week.
He is expected to be joined by former Jets teammates Labinot Haliti and Nikolai Topor-Stanley, who was released from the final year of his contract on Friday.
Wanderers also unveiled their striped black, white and red Nike playing strip and confirmed they will be based at Parramatta Stadium.
The Jets’s first meeting with Wanderers is away in round six at Stadium on November 10.
