The Northern NSW National Premier League heavyweights take on the First Division Bluebells in the second of two final qualifying matches at Speers Point at noon on Sunday.
Adamstown Rosebud meet NPL rivals Edgeworth in the first qualifier at 10am.
The winners earn a place in the final 32 of the FFA Cup.
Magic and South Cardiff were NNSW representatives in the inaugural FFA Cup last year.
‘‘It is a privilege to make the final 32, but we still have a bit of work to do to get there,’’ Virgili said.
‘‘We won’t be taking Westy lightly.
‘‘In these cup games anything can happen.
‘‘All around the world you see underdogs get up for cup games and frustrate the better teams.
‘‘It will be a matter of whether we can break them down.
‘‘The last few weeks we have not been travelling that well. It will be a test for our boys.’’
Magic and West Wallsend progressed to the final in contrasting fashion on Saturday.
Rhys Tippett scored a hat-trick as Broadmeadow stormed to a 7-1 win over South Armidale.
‘‘Rhys has been lacking a little bit of confidence and it was good for him to find the back of the net,’’ Virgili said.
‘‘One goal was a really good goal.
‘‘It will be a boost for the whole.
‘‘We haven’t been playing that well in the past few weeks and moral was a bit down.’’
West Wallsend had to do it the hard way, winning 5-4 on penalties against Jesmond after the score was locked at 4-all at the end of 30 minutes of extra time.
In an amazing game neither side scored in the first half. The Bluebells then scored three before conceding three to be tied at 3-all at full-time.
In the other quarter-finals, former Jets striker Travis Cooper scored a brace to lead Rosebuds to a 4-0 win over Valentine.
Aaron Pritchard scored the opening two goals as Edgeworth accounted for Coffs Harbour by the same scoreline.
