Four homes are complete in the first village, Katherine’s Landing, and each owner represents a different demographic.
Young couple Chris Barker and Carina South were the first to move in, back in November.
Their neighbours now include Damien Allen (a young, single, first home buyer); Sydney tree-changers Eric and Liz Underhill-Pomeroy, and the Priddis family – Justin and Anna and their daughters Lara and Georgie, who are the first children to call Huntlee home.
All were drawn to Huntlee for its proximity to the Hunter Valley and Newcastle.
More than 40 homes are under constructions and another 54 have approval from Huntlee.
“All of these homes are helping bring Katherine’s Landing to life,” Huntlee project director Stephen Thompson said.
A family fun day will be held at Huntlee on Sunday.
