Playing the pro-am circuit, O’Reilly tied for 18th at Lakelands, 15th at Joondalup, ninth at Hillview, 29th at Hartfield and 18th at the 36-hole Cottesloe Open.
He was at least five shots off the lead in all five events but shot par or better in four of his six rounds.
This week he contests the $120,000 WA PGA at Kalgoorlie Golf Club.
Charlestown’s Jamie Hook has also entered the tournament, the last before the tour breaks for four months.
** Morisset’s Chad Mackeey and Merewether’s Luke Ferrier won the boys’ Belmont Junior Classic last week with scratch scores of 73.
Local Mackenzie Toole won the girls’ event on 81.
Mackeey and Ferrier also won the 15, 16 and 17 years boys’, and Belmont’s Josh Robards (76) the under-14s.
** James Hahn emerged from a slump to win the US PGA’s Wells Fargo Championship in a play-off against fellow American Roberto Castro in North Carolina.
South Korean-born Hahn parred the first extra hole, the par-four 18th, sinking a four-foot putt to edge Castro at Quail Hollow in Charlotte.
Castro made Hahn's task considerably easier by pulling his drive into a creek.
Hahn, 34, had missed eight consecutive cuts.
Adam Scott and John Senden were the best-placed Australians, finishing at two under and tied for 17th.
** Thailand's Ariya Jutanugarn held on to win her first LPGA Tour title, the Yokohama Tire Classic in Alabama.
Australia's Minjee Lee tied sixth and compatriot Sarah Jane Smith shared 15th.
