Hunter product Maisy Gibson has been named in the NSW Breakers squad for Saturday’s WNCL final against Queensland at Allan Border Field but remains unsure whether she will make the starting XI.

The 13 players, including four Australian representatives, travel to Brisbane on Thursday with the 20-year-old leg-spinner having played five national domestic one-day matches since debuting on October 13.
The Breakers are contesting their 21st consecutive decider but hope to regain the title they lost 12 months ago.
“All the girls are pretty hungry,” she said.
Gibson then joins the Sydney Thunder squad on Monday ahead of their WBBL title defence, which starts against the Melbourne Stars at North Sydney Oval on December 10 (6.15pm).
Still on women’s cricket and Hunter Sports High School student Synetta Manns took 2-9 in NSW Metro’s 57-run victory over Victoria at the Under-18 National Championships final in Hobart on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, former Wallsend first grader and now state contracted player Jason Sangha will line up for the Cricket Australia XI at the Under-19 National Championships in Adelaide from Monday with Central North trio Pat Magann, Ryan Meppem and Tom Scoble in the ACT-NSW Country squad.
