Turbines bound for Australia's largest wind farm in Northern NSW will be transported from the Port of Newcastle to the project site near Glen Innes this week.

The first of more than 800 loads of turbine parts are expected to arrive on December 5.
Goldwind Australia, which owns the White Rock project, estimated 10 oversized loads would be required for the construction of each turbine.
The $400 million, 175-megawatt project will initially number 70 turbines producing 2.5-megawatts, but planning approval has been granted for 119 turbines.
The project was approved in July, 2012, but construction did not get underway until May.
The farm is expected to have the capacity to power about 75,000 homes once fully completed.
The project will be worth about $35 million to the area around Glen Innes during construction of the 199-turbine wind farm, which is worth $400 million.
About 200 jobs will be created during construction and another 10 jobs will be available after construction.
Meanwhile, the Sapphire Wind Farm east of Inverell, developed by CWP Renewables, is expected to enter the construction phase by the end of the year, and the Moree Solar Farm started feeding energy into the grid in January.
