More than 2500 students are in the middle of tapping, swinging and pirouetting their way through the annual Hunter Schools Dance Festival.
Up to 660 dancers perform twice each day during the four-day festival.

Thirty boys from Eleebana Public School entertained with their World Cup-inspired performance Playing to Win.
NSW Education Department regional arts co-ordinator Lyn Cook said students from rural and remote parts of the Hunter were excited to perform to such a large audience.
