More than 190,000 V8 fans passed through the turnstiles at the inaugural Newcastle 500 across the weekend. Champion Jamie Whincup was crowned the winner in the race through Newcastle’s East End. The weather was glorious, Newcastle looked amazing on camera and the event was declared a success by Supercars CEO James Warburton.
