Tides going low late morning with Newcastle Beach, Dixon and Pogos the better options. Redhead, Frenchmans and Birdie to the south. Birubi and Seals rocks to the north.
Sunday morning looking offshore. Only swim at patrolled beaches in the flagged areas. Sweeps are running to the southern corners. Water 22C.
