Perth Glory will have a distinct Wanderers feel next season with new coach Tony Popovic signing another of his former players.

Just days after striker Brendon Santalab quit the Wanderers to reunite with Popovic at Glory, Socceroos defender Matthew Spiranovic has announced he's signed with Perth on a one-year deal.
Popovic has also lured former Wanderers assistant coach Hayden Foxe, while former Roar and City defender Ivan Franjic is another of his signings.
Spiranovic played under Popovic at Western Sydney from 2013-15, helping the club win the Asian Champions League in 2014.
The 29-year-old also played a key role in the Socceroos' triumphant Asian Cup campaign in 2015.
All up, Spiranovic has played 35 times for the Socceroos and will aim to revive his international career while playing with Glory.
Spiranovic, who was released by his Chinese club Zhejiang Greentown earlier this year, had been linked with a move to Sydney FC, Melbourne Victory, Melbourne City or the Wanderers.
But for Spiranovic, the chance to link up with Popovic again proved irresistible.
"It's fair to say Popovic has had a big influence on my decision to come to the club. He's a fantastic coach with a winning mentality," Spiranovic said.
"It's a new challenge; this club has a rich history and I'm going to help this team in any way I can to bring success back to Perth."
Spiranovic could make his Glory debut in the July 23 showdown with EPL powerhouse Chelsea at Optus Stadium.
