Emergency services, including the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, was called to the Ravensworth motocross track, located between Singleton and Muswellbrook, about 3pm.
The patient, a teenage boy, came of his motorbike and was knocked unconscious.
Members of the Singleton District Motorcycle Club called emergency services and a registered nurse at the scene rushed to the boy’s aid.
When he regained consciousness he was complaining of pain to his ribs and back, and had suffered injuries which caused swelling to his neck.
He was flown to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
