Hunter vignerons Brian McGuigan and Joss De Iuliis, business woman Jeanne Walls and Hunter Unions secretary Daniel Wallace were appointed earlier this month, taking the number of board members from seven to nine.
Newcastle Regional Show general manager Brett Gleeson said it was an exciting development.
“These new appointments set us up perfectly for the years ahead with a greater reach and connection to community and business,” he said.
“A larger board means greater influence and helps ensure we remain steadily focused on being contemporary yet holding firm to our traditional roots in agriculture, horticulture and industry.”
