Ms Crestani was honoured for her dedication to improving the life of cancer patients and their families, and providing educational opportunities for medical personnel on the Coast.
Other 2019 Australia Day Award winners included:
- Brad Cardis – Arts, Culture and Entertainment Award, for his support for local businesses, musicians and artists on their path to success;
- Debbi Lalor – Businesses Connecting Communities Award, for her ‘What’s On Central Coast’ website;
- Phil Walker – Community Service and Activity Award;
- Isabelle Kelly – Sportsperson of the Year Award, for her role in Australia’s World Cup rugby league team.
