Former Catholic priest Vincent Ryan has been found guilty of indecently assaulting two more altar boys at The Junction in the 1970s and at Cessnock in the 1990s.

The 79-year-old, who has previously been jailed for 14 years for the abuse of 34 boys between 1973 and 1991, showed no emotion as Judge Dina Yehia delivered the verdicts at the end of a 2.5 hour judgement on at Sydney District Court on Thursday.
Ryan previously told police about scores of abuse incidents that they were unaware of when he was being interviewed about other offences in the 1990s.

He argued the most recent allegations were untrue because he did not remember the boys' names.
He gave evidence that he had a clear memory of all the boys he had abused because he would repeatedly say their names while masturbating before attempting to abuse them. He described this process as "self-grooming".
Judge Yehia, who conducted a judge-only trial rejected this and said that given the vast scale of his offending over a long period of time he would have been unable to remember all of the details of his offending or his victims.
The first victim responded to a parish flyer that Ryan distributed looking for altar boys to train while he was parish priest at St Josephs, The Junction, in 1974 and 1975.
The court heard the boy who arrived at the presbytery on a Saturday afternoon for training was met by an elderly woman who took him to the church sacristy.
Ryan told the boy that he wanted to "lighten things up". He allegedly gave the boy a glass of wine, which he described as the "blood of Christ".
Shortly afterwards, Ryan put his hand down the boy’s pants and began to masturbate him. Ryan also masturbated himself.
Afterwards he said “I told you altar boy training would be fun”.
The second victim was abused while sitting next to Ryan on a couch during an movie night for altar boys at a hall adjacent to St Joseph's Church, Cessnock, in the early 1990s.
Ryan touched the boy's thigh and attempted to touch his penis before the boy moved away.
The boy was also abused after assisting Ryan at funeral services.
He said Ryan had attempted to hug him when he became upset following a service. The boy felt Ryan's erect penis pushing into his back before he put his hand down the boy's pants.
"I know how to make you happy," Ryan said.
Judge Yehia found Ryan not guilty of a charge of attempted sexual intercourse with the boy.
He will be sentenced for the most recent charges on April 18.
