To celebrate, Peppa is making her silver-screen comeback with a new hour-long theatrical release, Peppa Pig: Festival of Fun, hitting cinemas nationally on May 2.
Part of eOne's successful new My First Cinema Experience format, Peppa Pig: Festival of Fun is designed specifically for pre-schoolers with interactive content encouraging them to sing, dance and play along.
The release includes 10 new five-minute episodes of Peppa Pig. Children can watch Peppa Pig and the gang dancing in the mud at a children's festival, celebrating Grandpa Pig's birthday at a restaurant, and taking a trip to the cinema to see Super Potato's big movie feature. Brand new characters join all the Peppa Pig favourites as they snort and giggle their way through various adventures.
Peppa Pig has been translated into more than 40 languages. The television series follows Peppa Pig, a cheeky little piggy who lives with her younger brother George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig. Peppa’s favourite things include playing games, dressing up, days out and jumping in muddy puddles.
Weekender has five family passes to Peppa Pig: Festival of Fun to give away. Each family pass admits two adults and two children and is valued at $80.
