Luke Rutledge, of Colliers International, is marketing the landmark property at 183-185 King Street and said owners Event were open to repurposing the building.
The 42-year-old building operated as cinema from 1976 until last year, when it closed its doors in December.

It comprises a three-screen cinema complex with 1576 seats and has a gross floor area of 3688 square metres.
Mr Rutledge said Event were "open to anything and everything" and had received enquiries from church groups, other cinema operators and accommodation providers.
"They're more than flexible in trying to attract a tenant," Mr Rutledge said.
