A MAN has been cut free from his vehicle and flown to the John Hunter Hospital after a crash on the Golden Highway.

Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash at Jerrys Plains, near Lemington Road, about 7am on Wednesday.
One person was trapped inside their car for more than hour, before being extricated by emergency services.
The man, 53, was treated by paramedics and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter critical care medical crew at the scene.
He was flown to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition suffering multiple injuries.
The crash site was cleared by 8am, but motorists were advised to expect significant delays in both directions.
