A PURSUIT that led to a Kotara South crash has sparked a police appeal for information.

Police are calling for dash-cam footage after they attempted to stop a white Hyundai i40 on Stewart Avenue in Newcastle West.
The vehicle failed to stop and accelerated at high speed onto Parry Street, police said.
A pursuit began but was abandoned after the driver allegedly travelled onto the wrong side of the road at Tudor Street.
Police said the same vehicle was involved in a collision with three other cars about 10 minutes later at the intersection of Carnley Avenue and Lookout Road.
"Two persons fled the vehicle and when police arrived one female was detained," police said.
Anyone who witnessed the crash and is yet to speak to police is urged to call Newcastle police station on 4929 0999 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Police are also interested in any footage depicting the car, the occupants or the collision itself.
Separately, an 18-year-old Jesmond man will face court on Thursday after alleged break-and-enter offences in August and September.
Police arrested the man on September 5, charging him with seven offences after a Wallsend police pursuit.
He was refused bail and charged with five additional offences while remanded in custody.
The additional offences include receive stolen property, dishonesty obtain property by deception, goods in custody reasonably suspected stolen, break and enter and send document threatening death/injury.
The man was released on court conditional bail last Wednesday but has been re-arrested after allegedly failing to comply with the conditions.
On Wednesday he was arrested and charged with a further three break-and-enter offences that allegedly occurred in The Junction and Wallsend.
He was refused bail to face Newcastle Local Court on Thursday.
