Property Watch: The Esplanade sale new suburb record for Warners Bay

Stone Real Estate's Lily Chagorski marketed the near-new residence at 540 The Esplanade with David Tanchevski and reported the $2.15 million result came within three weeks of being listed.

The property, which was previously marketed by another agency, featured five bedrooms, three bathrooms, multiple living spaces, a pool and uninterrupted views of Lake Macquarie.

It was built and owned by Vince Di Prinzio, who owns Di Prinzio Concreting, and wife Christina.

According to Australian Property Monitors data, the previous highest sale for Warners Bay was $1.85 million, paid for another property along The Esplanade in 2016.

There were six registered bidders before a three-bedroom home at 38 The Quarter Deck sold under the hammer for $1.01 million last weekend. It was marketed by Street Property with a guide of $890,000 to $960,000.

Crawford Real Estate have listed a three-bedroom home at 49 Portland Place in New Lambton with a guide of $1.5 million to $1.595 million while a four-bedroom residence with a pool at 84 Garden Grove Parade, Adamstown Heights is being marketed by Dalton Partners for $1.1 million.

Century 21 Carkeet Johns Smith are selling a four-bedroom house with a pool and on over 800 square metres of land at 12 Timbercrest Chase in Charlestown for $1.05 million.

A three-bedroom house at 23 James Street in Tingira Heights is on the market through Belle Property Charleston for $530,000 to $580,000 and Dalton Partners have listed a three-bedroom townhouse at 12/22 Patrick Street in Merewether for $795,000 to $825,000.

A two-bedroom townhouse at 9/22 Donald Street in Hamilton has been listed for sale through First National Newcastle City for $475,000 to $520,000. PRDnationwide Newcastle and Lake Macquarie have a three-bedroom home at 7 Murray Road, Cardiff for $440,000.

River Realty are selling a three-bedroom home on nearly 600 square metres of land at 32 Maher Avenue in East Maitland for $440,000 to $480,000.
