Newcastle Herald music review: Soccer Mommy's second album 'Colour Theory' rises above the gloom - 3.5 stars

A CONCEPT album exploring depression, at first glance, sounds bleak. Soccer Mommy's second album Color Theory contains heavy themes but the shimmering arrangements and Sophie Allison's sweet vocals guarantee the songs aren't dragged down by the lyrics.
