NEWCASTLE East cafe Estabar will begin delivering a DIY, "immunity booster" breakfast for patrons who are self-isolating or practising social distancing on Friday.

Owner Bec Bowie said customers could either drive-by her beachside cafe to have it passed through their car window, or one of her staff would skateboard to deliver to residents who lived between Newcastle Beach and Church and Crown Streets.
Estabar is teaming up with sustainable Darby Street fashion label High Tea With Mrs Woo, whose "beautiful and functional" furoshiki wrapping cloths - made from remnant fabrics - will carry the breakfast kits.
Ms Bowie said her business had been focused on healthy eating and building customer immunity since opening 15 years ago, using the freshest local and seasonal produce from local businesses.
One of the cafe's healthiest immune-boosting offerings is a kvass (an Eastern European beverage) made from fermented beetroot by local business Whole Food Family.
A bonus shot of kvass will be in the breakfast kit of ingredients for a hearty serve of scrambled eggs: a dozen Just Been Laid eggs, Little Big Dairy pouring cream, Baked Uprising bread, James and Rose brinjal pickle and house-made crumble featuring tumeric, fresh curry leaf, chipped coconut and buckwheat. A 250g pack of coffee beans (whole or ground) a bottle of of Fresh Fusion's orange, ginger, lemon and tumeric is also included. At $85, including the bag, the breakfast is designed for two for a weekend, or one hearty breakfast for four.
"It's a beautiful celebration of bringing people together at home, where everyone is doing something - slicing bread, making eggs, pouring juice, making coffee. No-one is on the phone, and everyone is supporting each other in this crazy time," she said, adding details of delivery would be on Estabar's social media.
High Tea with Mrs Woo's Rowena Foong said the business was using its social media to step up their engagement with customers as it waited for further government announcements.
"Stay local, stay put, spread calm. Social distancing is supremely important right now but it's not the end of the world!" she said.
