ICONIC Australian music festival Splendour In The Grass has locked in the majority of the line-up for its rescheduled 2020 edition.

It was announced earlier this week that the North Byron Parklands festival would be unable to continue as planned on July 24 to 26 due to the uncertainly surrounding the global coronavirus pandemic.
Headline acts The Strokes, Tyler The Creator and Flume have confirmed they will perform at the first Splendour to be held during spring on October 23 to 25.
"Flume, The Strokes and Tyler, The Creator have all confirmed their attendance for these new dates alongside most others," organisers said.
"As this is moving quickly and we work through the detail there will be some programming changes but we are confident that rescheduling to October - a one off spring edition of Splendour - is the best way to ensure we present the Splendour experience you all know and love."
All tickets are transferable to the new dates. Full refunds are also available through Moshtix for ticket-holders unable to attend in October.
Splendour In The Grass will return to its regular July scheduling in 2021.
ALANIS TO RETURN
ALANIS Morissette was forced to cancel her 20 years Jagged Little Pill tour this week due to COVID-19, but the '90s legend has promised to return soon.
"Unfortunately the upcoming shows in Japan, Manila, Australia and New Zealand will be rescheduled for a later date please hang on to your tickets, details to come soon for the rescheduled shows," Morissette said.
NATIONAL CHANGE
US rock band The National have recommitted to touring Australia in December after being forced to cancel their March tour to celebrate the album I Am Easy To Find due to coronavirus.
The Ohio five-piece and their support, US indie artist Phoebe Bridgers, will kick off their tour on December 10 at Sydney's First State Super Theatre, before visiting the Fortitude Music Hall, Brisbane (December 12-13); Palais Theatre, Melbourne (December 15-17) and the Fremantle Arts Centre (December 19-20).
