As such, she wasn't planning to do a Naked For Change calendar for 2021.
"Given the project is so big from start to finish, I had decided not to do it this year," said Ms Palmowski, who runs The Naked Florist.
But the pandemic meant her plans to marry were put on hold, so she reconsidered.
The 2020 calendar, which featured nude florists for each month, raised $13,000 for the charity Got Your Back Sista.
Ms Palmowski felt she had to do a 2021 calendar, given the previous one had such a positive affect on people's lives.
"Pulling off this project does require a lot of work and time I really don't have.
"However, knowing there is a way I can help people and potentially change their lives through something like this - which is, of course, such a fun thing to do - I can't not do it."
Plus, she likes being in the calendar [she's January].
"I gained a lot of body confidence," she said.
She did the first calendar shoot not long after having her son Hugo.
"It was a really positive way to get out of my comfort zone and love my new body for what it now is," she said.
Studio Tallou's Stevie Breese, who appears in the February section of the calendar, said it was an honour to be "part of this amazing initiative".
"It was definitely out of our comfort zones, but well worth it to support such a great cause," Ms Breese said.
Other florists involved reported similar feelings.
That is, being in the calendar had given them a confidence boost.
Ms Palmowski said they were now loving more than ever "being in their own skin".
"The other amazing thing is the joy it brings to people who have the calendar. Everyone loves it and it's definitely a talking point."
She said the 2021 calendar was about showing "some new faces and bodies and keeping it local".
"My greatest challenge last year was finding florists willing to get nude for me.
"Now that everyone has seen it before and knows all about it, I had people jumping at the opportunity.
"And now that I know how to pull this off, I feel the work is almost halved."
She's looking forward to the launch.
"It is so exciting knowing you are doing such an amazing thing that not only raises funds for charity but brings smiles to people's faces," she said.
"There is a lot of behind-the-scenes prep, so we are all quite eager to get it out to the world.
"We honestly have so much fun posing nude and getting out of our comfort zones. The girls and guys love it."
This year's calendar will raise money for the charity MND and ME Foundation. It supports people and their families living with motor neurone disease.
"My friend's father has MND and the calendar is in support of him and his family," she said.
The calendar is $20. Pre-sales are available.
