* Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt is anticipating Australians will willingly adopt a coronavirus vaccine without having to make it compulsory.
* He also announced Australia will be part of a new international regulatory partnership for COVID-19 vaccines that includes the UK, Canada, Switzerland and Singapore.
* Education Minister Dan Tehan said repatriating Australians stranded overseas remains the Morrison government's No.1 priority, but the education sector has been told to work with state and territory governments in regard to international students.
* Western Australian Premier Mark McGowan warned he won't hesitate to slam its border shut again if the Morrison government relaxes restrictions on international travellers. Four new cases were reported in WA hotel quarantine on Sunday.
* South Australia reported four new cases, including a woman in her 80s who tested positive in the community. Two family members have also tested positive, with one of them working at a quarantine hotel.
* In NSW, nine overseas travellers in hotel quarantine were diagnosed with COVID-19, as authorities detected more traces of the virus in sewage.
* A squad of public housing residents will play a frontline role checking for symptoms among fellow tenants in Melbourne.
* Victoria reported a 16th consecutive day on Sunday without a new case or death.
* The state's death toll stands at 819, with the national figure 907.

* The national death toll is 907: Victoria 819, NSW 55, Tasmania 13, WA 9, Queensland 6, SA 4, ACT 3. (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).
