A man has been taken to hospital in a stable condition after a bus fell on him while he was changing its tyre on the Central Coast.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter and NSW Ambulance paramedics were sent to a bus depot at Kincumber about 7.25am on Thursday after reports a 26-year-old man had been injured.
A Westpac chopper spokesperson said the man had been changing a tyre on the bus when the jack failed and the vehicle pinned him.
He suffered lower limb and pelvic injuries. He was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
