The Sum of Us is a retrospective exhibition by artists Chris and Frances Fussell. Having first met at East Sydney Tech 1967, the artists have been painting and exhibiting together since. Frances paints still-life with colour and a strong sense of design and composition, drawing inspiration from artists such as Margaret Preston, Margaret Olley and some 17th century Dutch masters, while Chris paints the landscape in striking colour. WordXimage is presenting Garry Shead's complete prints and some original drawings about Ern Malley, the famous poet who never was. Malley was the invention of two conservative poets in the 1940s determined to hoax the experimental poets published by Angry Penguins.
