In January 2022 the three-piece will launch the 29-date The Sun album tour, spanning all states and territories.
Wests NEX will host the Newcastle show on February 19.
The tour will be the three-time ARIA Award-winning act's first live shows since their 2017 run for the album Off The Grid.
The album was marred by the death of stuntman Johann Ofner, who was fatally injured in January 2017 during the filming of a video clip for the song Friend Like You.
A coronial inquest into the 28-year-old Ofner's death is ongoing in Brisbane.
On that tour Bliss n Eso performed a sold-out show at the Cambridge Hotel.
Bliss n Eso released their seventh album The Sun on Friday and it was preceded by the singles Good People (featuring Kasey Chambers), So Happy, Send It, OGs (featuring ChillinIt), Tell The World I'm Coming and On One, featuring UK grime icon Dizzee Rascal.

- Max MacKinnon, Bliss n Eso
"The sun is god, my friends," Bliss n Eso's Max MacKinnon says of the title.
"Let there be light. Yes indeed, let there be light. It is the reason we wake, why we go to sleep, why the flowers grow.
"It's been one of the most inspiring things in our music really.

Tickets for Bliss n Eso's Wests NEX show on February 19, 2022 go on sale at 10.30am on September 6 through moshtix.com.au.
