Belle Property Lake Macquarie's Sam Taylor marketed the property at 21 Falster Ridge with a guide of $1.1 million. The property featured a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home with a pool and spa on a 1213 square metre block that backed onto bushland.
The auction was brought forward by one week due to buyer interest. Four registered bidders reportedly slogged it out for over 30 minutes at the online auction with 83 bids made in total.
"Auction is a rare process for Cameron Park, but in so many ways it highlights what the market is capable of rather than a preconceived idea of what Cameron Park should be worth," Mr Taylor said.
"We had quite a few buyers, both local and out of area, and it was so sought after. The house still needed landscaping but it was the location and block size of around 1200 square metres that was the drawcard because it's a lifestyle offering which is hard to come by east of the freeway."
According to CoreLogic data, it surpassed the previous highest Cameron Park result of $1.15 million for a four-bedroom house on 4.86 hectares of land at 36 Beluga Drive in October 2018.
A four-bedroom home on a 1329 square metre block at 100 Northlakes Drive was sold for $1.141 million in September last year.
