Buyers from Glenning Vale, Central Coast, snapped up the five-bedroom home following a social media campaign that garnered 350 enquiries in its first three days.
The sale surpassed the $1.3 million paid for 26 Weller Street in April this year, and marked Fletcher's ninth seven-figure result since 26 Talloowwood Crescent sold for a record $1.01 million in June 2019.
Lisa and Scott Morrison, who also set the suburb's record sale when they moved from Radiata Close about 14 years ago, designed and built the home together.
Mrs Morrison said the addition of a new kitchen four years ago was one of few changes that had been made since they first moved in.
"We're over the moon - we didn't think a price of that level in Fletcher could be achieved," she said.
"This one was meant to be a pit stop - we were going to do one more after this one, but we loved this one so much.
"The location of it, being across from the bush and the street we were in and the neighbours ... we never left."

Mrs Morrison said her family plans to downsize within the Fletcher area, while the new owners plan to use the house as a holiday home in the short term before moving in later on.
PRD Newcastle and Lake Macquarie's Jeremy Allwood said it had been a good time to sell the property, with many other listings waiting for restrictions to be eased before going on the market.
He said buyers were attracted to Fletcher's reputation as a "community-based suburb".
"We see a lot of potential in Fletcher - it's not as big as Cameron Park, but it is still quite close to that freeway and you've got direct access to Wallsend," Mr Allwood said.
"We're expecting to see a lot more development out that way ... it's only a matter of time before it grows bigger and this sort of sale will definitely put Fletcher on the map."
The home is set on 890 square metres, including 420 square metres under roof, features a pool and outdoor entertaining area and fronts onto bushland.
