Between September and October almost $10,000 worth of packages and parcels were stolen from two Victorian post offices.
Police allege the man broke into the Werribee and Point Cook post offices five separate times to grab his haul of parcels.
He on-sold the contents to international buyers, police said.
The 30-year-old was arrested at his Werribee home and charged with five counts of burglary and possessing a drug of dependence.
Police did not disclose which drugs he allegedly possessed.
He was remanded to appear at Sunshine Magistrates' Court on December 7.
