Sam Mostyn, who was sworn in as the 28th governor-general on Monday, gave royal assent for the first time as she ended her first week in the high-profile position.
The laws, which passed parliament at the end of June, changed multiple pieces of legislation to scrap references to the Council of Australian Governments, which had been replaced with national cabinet.
Royal assent is when the governor-general signs off on legislation after passing both houses of federal parliament.
Ms Mostyn, a former businesswoman, gender-equality advocate and AFL commissioner, will serve in the role as King's representative in Australia for a five-year term.
She replaced David Hurley, who held the position from 2019.
