The chief executive of a youth news site is one of several high profile redundancies in a mass restructure at Nine.

Pedestrian Group's chief executive Matt Rowley is leaving the publisher amid plans by Nine to end deals that Pedestrian had in place with five publications - Vice, Refinery29, Gizmodo, Lifehacker and Kotaku.
It is expected that the Australian operations of these sites will shut down once the deal ends and most if not all staff will be made redundant, according to tweets from staff on July 8.
Nine has already announced 90 jobs would go from its newspaper division that includes the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age.
Journalists took to social media to lament the changes.
"It's been one of the great joys of my life to wake up every day and run a site I love with all my heart," Kotaku Australia's managing editor, David Smith, posted on X.
"We were the second-highest read site in the group after [Pedestrian TV] and we still had so much we wanted to do. The plans I had were just getting started. Alas."
"I loved Gizmodo Australia. I gave it my all, I built a strong EV coverage pillar, and this happens," Gizmodo Australia writer Zachariah Kelly said.
The Nine job cuts come after News Corp and Channel 7 also announced redundancies on the back of weak advertising revenue and the decision by Meta to end its deals to pay Australian publishers for premium content.
