"Come prepared with a sleeping bag, blanket, or lawn chair. Lie flat on your back and look up, taking in as much of the sky as possible," NASA recommended.
"In less than 30 minutes in the dark, your eyes will adapt and you will begin to see meteors. Be patient - the show will last until dawn, so you have plenty of time to catch a glimpse."
Delta Aquariids' meteor shower runs from July 18 to August 21 with its peak on July 31, NASA said.
Around 20 meteors would be visible every hour with an average velocity of 40 kilometres per second.
Alpha Capricornids' shower will peak on the same night but with around five meteors visible every hour.
