Three categories of awards are available to students and teams.
Sports awards are presented to students who have represented the association as a team member or as an individual in a competition conducted by the NSW PSSA and have shown excellence at a high level in their sport.
Achievement awards are presented to students who have continually performed with outstanding merit in more than one sport at NSW PSSA level, while recognition awards are presented to students who have previously been recognised by the association or teams who have won their state competition.
This year the association will present 16 students with sports awards and another 21 with achievement awards.
